The value of adding the right feature bundles targeted at specific segments is huge, but hard to measure in the presence of so many other features.
Our client needed a way to measure the impact of these bundles, which in normal models were lost in the noise, overwhelmed by core features.
WHAT WE DID
We used Augmented Choice to create multiple sets of discrete choice tasks that rotated focus on core device preferences and the appeal of specific add-on peripheral bundles.
The design used a careful overlap of some features and measured purchase intent of holistic offerings.
We were able to accurately assess the increased sales and willingness to pay for devices that included bundles, enabling our client to select the feature bundle with the greatest ROI.
